In general, the detection devices used on CNC machine tools should meet the following requirements:

1. Reliable work and strong anti-interference.

2. Can meet the accuracy and speed requirements.

3. Easy to use and maintenance, suitable for the working environment of the machine tool.

4. The cost is not high and it is inexpensive.

In general, the detection accuracy of a numerically-controlled machine tool detection device is 0.001 to 0.01 mm/m, and the resolution is 0.001 to 0.01 mm/m, which can satisfy the movement of the machine tool table at a speed of 1 to 10 m/min.
